形態特徵

• Stems simple, erect, 10 cm long, densely floccose, densely leafy, corymbosely branched apically, branches ascending.
• Leaves densely gray woolly on both surfaces; radical leaves small, obovate; median cauline leaves spatulate, 12–24×3–3.5 mm, apex obtuse, base narrowed, slightly sheathing; upper leaves smaller, linear, 5–6 mm long.
• Heads ca. 6, in corymbs, pedunculate. Involucre campanulate-globose, densely floccose, 6 mm across, bracts imbricate, 6-series, outer bracts brownish, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, subacute to obtuse, inner ones white, obtuse. Ray florets pistillate, many; corolla filiform, 3.5 mm long. Central florets bisexual, few; corolla tubular, 3–5 mm long, 5-lobed. Pappus-bristles 3.7 mm long.
• <i>Anaphalis horaimontana</i> resembles <i>A. nepalensis</i> in having few heads and obovate-spatulate leaves, but can be distinguished by the much smaller heads. It is also similar to <i>A. margaritacea</i> subsp. <i>morrisonicola</i>, but has fewer heads.

• 台灣 : alpine, known only from the type collection.
